Edith Lando VLC is proud to share the launch of a new book by author and educator Ena Point The Sounds of My Body in hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓. This beautifully illustrated board book uses QR Codes to teach the pronunciation of hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ words. The book is available for purchase online through the Sniw Consultants website.
Author Ena Point is a first-generation Filipina Canadian who has been living in the Musqueam community for almost 20 years. She is the mother of three boys, who are the inspirations for her books. In addition to being an author and consultant, Ena works full-time at UBC Childcare Services as their Indigenous Relations and Engagement Pedagogist.
