About
The unequivocal implementation of equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonization, and anti-racism (EDIDA) in education is a growing imperative, but something that educators lack the training, support, and complex understanding to effectively embed into their classrooms. With the world being exposed to the phenomenon of maker spaces and the ideology of building a maker mentality, a virtual or physical makerspace can be the very environment needed for welcoming, inclusive, responsive, and representative content to be taught and mindsets can be changed.
